 The AUOB LODGE, a green oasis in the Kalahari landscape, lies on the banks of the Auob rivier (dry riverbed), only 6 km from the village of Gochas.
The lodge with 53 beds also offers 2 family rooms, a restaurant, a lapa, a TV lounge and a lounge with fireplace for cool winter evenings and a bar are at you disposal.
The red sand dunes of the Kalahari form a great contrast to the white limestone of the hollow the Auob river carved into the landscape when it was still flowing. On the 8000 ha of land around the lodge you can watch antelopes, small mammals a many bird species. Here the plant life has adapted to the harsh conditions of the Kalahari.
