In the middle of the Okonjati Game Reserve, founded in the seventies by the nature conservationist Jan Oelofse. Situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Namibia, about 180 kilometres north of Windhoek, it brings you into closest contact with the fascinating African wilderness. Hundreds of bird and mammal species for you to watch, amongst them black
and white rhino, elephants, hippos, giraffes and numerous antelope species, from the kudu to the Damaraland Dik-Dik. Big cats like lions, leopards and cheetahs are also at home in the reserve. Game watching in an open 4x4 or by foot, under the guidance of experienced game rangers.
Our guests are accommodated in natural surrounding. You have the choice between our Rhino Lodge and the Main Lodge. All rooms are very comfortably furnished, with en-suite toilet and bathroom. Some rooms in the main lodge have their own jacuzzi. And to the main lodge belong a
swimming pool and garden above a waterhole, where even hippos can be observed.
